About Us
Lacy Maynard-Kimball is a home grown Texas girl. She grew up in Bastrop, Texas among a large and very close family. After high school she attended Texas A&M University in College Station where she graduated with a Bachelors in Agricultural Communications and Journalism in just three years. After graduation, she purchased her Women's Professional Rodeo Association permit, which she filled by winning more than $1,000 in the first rodeo she ran her barrel racing gelding Tiger at. She continued for two years to travel the United States and Canada participating in barrel racing at rodeos and training horses. After Tiger was injured barrel racing, she applied and attended law school at Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law) in Fort Worth, Texas, graduating in just two and a half years. She took the Texas Bar Exam in February 2013 and became licensed in May 2013. She applied, was approved, and passed the test to become Texas Board Certified in Family Law in 2021.
Lacy continues to train and compete on barrel racing horses. She married her cowboy Cody Kimball on June 6, 2015. They live in Brock, Texas with their children and continue to rodeo.
