Divorces

Divorces are the ending of a marriage.  This is an emotional, stressful, and trying time for all people involved.  But while you are dealing with the emotions of a divorce, you need someone to protect your legal interests.  From custody issues to property, the time during a divorce is very critical to ensure the team you have to protect you is ready, willing, and able.

There are many aspects to consider when thinking about divorce and going through the process.  The best way to proceed is dependent on each situation.  You need representation to help you through the process and to help you navigate what life will look like after the divorce is completed.

Forms

Texas is a community property state, but that does not mean that all property is community.  Texas does allow for certain property, if proven, to be separate property and not subject to division.  This forms helps gather all the relevant information on the assets and debts of the marriage.

When children are involved in a divorce, the stakes can be much higher.  When you are considering what the new routines in life will be for you and your children, it is helpful to understand what is important and what is the best way to have valuable time with your childr

Prior to divorce there is one household to provide for.  After divorce the expenses of life will double with two households.  This form will help you to determine what you are currently spending vs what you will need to plan ahead for the second household.

During any litigation in Texas, the parties will complete the discovery process.  This is a process where each party discloses certain information to ensure that everyone has a clear understanding of the situation.  This form will help gather that information that MUST be shared during litigation.
